Hi there and thanks for stopping by!! 

I'm Amy, the lead Potter and Ceramicist at

Gypsy Soul Stoneware. 

Everyone always asks, "How long have you been potting"?  to which I always respond with "Since Highschool"!  which means nothing until you state the year and do the math! :)

So...31 years ago I started throwing pottery my freshman year in High School at Cambridge High School in Cambridge WI.  My Ceramics teacher Mr. Kent Karberg can be accredited for my love of pottery.  Mr. Karberg was an amazing instructor and able to run an extensive pottery/ceramics program thanks to Rowe Pottery Works also in Cambridge, who donated most of the equipment and clay for the high school students!  We were pretty lucky!!!

In the past few years prior to opening this pottery business I also had a wonderful mentor; June Lusty who instructs at the local Rec. Center in Fairview, TN.  She must also be mentioned as It's safe to say you absolutely can "teach an old dog new tricks", as June taught me plenty!!!  I owe her for pushing me in this direction and helping me to get this business started!
